Eagle Manufacturers Work with Welders

Machine Tool Tech students proudly state, “We do jobs for our community!” but sometimes, they get some help to make this magic happen.

These are couplers for shafts for a pig roast. These parts will go to a community church. On the CNC lathe, these couplers were faced, drilled, and bored. The slots were then milled on the manual mill. These couplers were then sent to LCCTC welding students to weld the couplers to the shafts! We work together here at LCCTC!

The LCCTC MTT student’s take pride in the parts they make for our community, and our metal-working students from both MTT and Welding are happy to work together to get the job done.
