Anthony Galmarini: 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee

Congratulations to Anthony Galmarini, 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee!

Anthony Galmarini was a 1987 graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech. With the encouragement of his electronics technology instructor, Mr. Frank Marlow, Anthony participated in VICA (today renamed SkillsUSA) winning at the local, regional, and state levels. He then competed on the national level in Wichita, KS.

Following graduation, Anthony attended RETS Electronics School on a full-scholarship graduating first in his class receiving an Alpha Beta Kappa recognition.

As a wireless communications technician, Anthony worked in Arizona, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. in 2004, he accepted a position with Motorola as a Federal Systems technologist. In 2005, he was part of the Motorola team that assisted in rebuilding New Orleans from the effects of hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Anthony has also worked for the Department of Defense travelling to Spain, Italy, and the Middle East.

Anthony earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix in 2011.

Since 2017, Anthony has been part of Solutions Architect as part of Solutions Center of Excellence.

Anthony has approximately 3 decades under his belt as a professional in the electronics and communications field. The education and experience gained at Lawrence County Vo-Tech was the perfect foundation for a long and productive career.
