LCCTC Students Shine in Band Festival

Dedication. These days, it’s not easy to go above and beyond, but just because it’s tough — it doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

In addition to our student-athletes, we have students from all over the county who head home only to return to their home school for hours of weekly practice or for Friday nights under the lights to rally their teams with fight songs and to entertain the crowds during the halftime show.

Tonight, bands from all over the Lawrence County region gathered to perform for their fans and for each other. The evening’s highlight occurred during each school’s performance as each band would cheer for the others in appreciation of fancy footwork or funky dance moves and of course for great music.

Great job Lawrence County bands, and an extra cheer comes from us for our student band members (featured in the photos below)! You make us proud!
