The Harmony Short Line Returns to Ellwood

This historical replica of the original “Harmony Short Line” Trolley that first passed through Ellwood City in 1908 represents two years of hard work and commitment by the students enrolled in the Commercial Art, Construction Trades, Electrical Occupations, and Welding programs at the Lawrence County CTC.

With the support of the Ellwood City Area Historical Society, funding provided by our generous sponsors, and the vocational instruction of the educators at the CTC, our hope is that this trolley car will serve the community for generations as it promotes and preserves the rich history of our area.

On May 24, 2022, the students of LCCTC proudly presented their finished product, returning it to the hands of the Ellwood City Area Historical Society and the Lawrence County community.
