Elite Eight: LCCTC SkillsUSA National Competitors Visit the Capitol

What an honor! Being invited to visit the state capitol in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania!

What a deserving “elite eight” — state gold medalists from the recent competition in Hershey, PA. This group of powerhouses includes the Opening and Closing Ceremonies team of Sammie McKnight, Ava King, Lynnden Cummins, Madison Werner, Riley Barge, Aaliyah Kinney, and Gabrielle Treece; for Health Occupations Professional Portfolio, Joy Hudspath.

In June, they will travel to Atlanta Georgia to compete at the National SkillsUSA Leadership Conference and Championships.

They would like to thank Pennsylvania State Representative Marla Brown from Lawrence County and her amazing staff for the hospitality, and for the unwavering support and encouragement she has given them!
