Frankie Goes to School: VA Program Learns about the K9 Program

A HUGE thank you to Officer Ventura and K9 partner Frankie for coming and teaching our Veterinary Assistant program about being a K9 unit!

A special shout out to our very own Corporal Hoyland for excitedly volunteering to be a participant! You’ll see him in the photo with the protective sleeve on — bracing for Frankie’s impact.

Due to strong community support and hard work by the students in the program, the Vet Assistant program was able to raise $700 for our 6th annual Stick Up 4 Paws event.

Again, thank you for the lessons on what it’s like to work in the New Castle Police Department’s K9 unit Officer Ventura, Corporal Hoyland, and, of course — Frankie!
