Candyland Court: 2018

Introducing the sophomore princesses!

Corrin Clouston is our first princess! Corrin studies Health Assistant here at LCCTC. In addition to cheer-leading, she is also in Peer Leadership. This bundle of joy works at Leaps and Bounds Gymnastics Center in Ellwood. Her current track is leading her to become a Nurse Practitioner. And as for her favorite part of the holidays: Opening presents, of course!

Next is the incredibly talented Zoey Galat! She enjoys her Commercial Arts shop and even had a hand in decorating the gingerbread float for New Castle’s Light Up Night Parade! When she graduates, she would like to continue her studies at a trade school. Her favorite holiday memory was when she went with her dad, younger brother, and his girlfriend to get a Christmas tree.

Next up — the junior princesses!

Meet Keegan Wallace! This rainbow-haired beauty studies Vet Assistant. In her spare time she trains and barrel races horses; away from the barn, she hops on a different type of horse-power: a quad! Keegan’s favorite holiday activity is decorating the tree and drinking lots of hot cocoa!

Introducing Linsey Watson! Linsey has big hopes to one day go to college to become a Veterinary Technician. Active in both 4-H and LCCTC’s Vet Assistant Chapter of Future Farmers of America, she also participates in barrel racing. She describes her favorite Christmas memory as simply opening gifts surrounded by friends and family.

And now for the Queen Candidates:

A senior in Cosmetology, Bridget Allen is currently employed at Loccisano’s and is a member of Ellwood City’s Tennis team! Bridget plans to attend BC3 for radiology. Her favorite Christmas memory is going to her grandmother’s house to spend time with her family on Christmas Eve.

Let’s give a nod to the beautiful Sierra Knight. Currently a valued employee at McDonald’s, Sierra plans to take the State Board for her Cosmetology license so that she can one day work in a salon. This holiday season, Sierra looks forward to decorating and making Christmas cookies with her family.

Introducing Tomiann McCowin. A friend to all, you can find Tomiann fine-tuning her skills in Health Assistant. When she graduates this year, she’d like to attend YSU for pediactrics. Her favorite holiday memory is going to Erie to spend time around the Christmas tree.

Say hello to animal-lover, Madison Mellot! She studies Vet Assistant; in her spare time, she enjoys dog sitting and grooming. After graduation, she plans to continue working in the field at a clinic that specializes in treating rescued animals. Her favorite holiday memory is eating cookies and drinking hot chocolate while watching The Santa Clause.

Tabatha Zang, a senior in Veterinary Assistance, has a promising future plan: to become a Veterinarian or Zoologist.
