We Can: Corn Hole Boards for Community

by Eagle Staff

Over the course of the past two weeks, students and staff in the Commercial Art, Construction Trades, and Collision Repair collaborated to create corn hole boards for First National Bank and The New Castle Public Library.

In a true hands-on lesson about cooperation, creating the creation of these boards proved to be a true team-effort. CT built the boards, CA digitally formatted the logos and designed and cut the vinyl, and CR applied the vinyl, painted and sealed them. The lessons learned: order processing, blueprint reading, construction, design, vinyl application, and finishing. The greatest reward — being proud of the production of a quality product.

This is just another fine example of how our students use their skills to serve our community.

Great team effort, LCCTC!
