On to Nationals: Brandon Bright is Recognized for State Gold Medal
Representative Chris Sainato took some time from his busy day to personally recognize Health Assistant junior Brandon Bright for his achievements at the SkillsUSA State Championships. This is Brandon’s first year in SkillsUSA and his first time competing in Health Occupations Professional Portfolio.
During competition, judges evaluate the ability of the individual to present him or herself to an employer using effective communication skills. Photographs, news articles, illustrations and other informative material might be included to support and enhance written evidence of the contestant’s participation in activities as described in the notebook, and the contestant must verbally and visually present examples of work and volunteer experience, certifications, and skills.
We’d like to thank Representative Sainato for presenting the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Legislative Citation to our medalists and for his words of encouragement and wishes of good luck to Brandon and the other eight SkillsUSA students from LCCTC as they travel to Louisville Kentucky for national competition in June.
