Senior Banquet 2019

Congratulations to those seniors who have put in their time, have worked to get a great skill, and who can claim membership in the Graduating Class of 2019!

Hosted by Class Advisor, Mrs. Brown and the senior class officers and catered by the Restaurant Trades Students from LCCTC, on May 9th, the Class of 2019, their families and friends, and the administration and staff of LCCTC gathered to celebrate success of those who have worked so hard to accomplish so much.

Additional congratulations goes to the following students receiving scholarships:

  • Mr. Mark Wilson presented The Wilson Moffett Scholarship to Jaden Locke

  • Marine Sgt. Knowlton presented the Semper Fidelis Scholastic Excellence Award to Jaden Locke

  • Mrs. Pasterik and Mr. Ovial presented the Jeri Palumbo Memorial Scholarship to Katie Dillon, Riley Leonard, and Julia Williams

  • Mr. Ovial presented the Albert P. Gettings Memorial Scholarship to Julia Williams and Riley Leonard

  • Mrs. Haynes and Mrs. Kegel presented The LCCTC Scholarship (3rd place tie) to Bridget Allen and Noah Jackson, (2nd place) to Madison Sinclair, and (1st place) Devin Dilling

  • Mr. Milanovich presented the Wilmington High School Alumni Scholarship to Riley Leonard

  • Mrs. McVicker-Shaffer presented the ROVA Leadership Scholarship to Riley Leonard

Mrs. Cepro and Mrs. Heasley acknowledged the members of The Future is Mine.

Honor Cords were presented to the Senior Class Officers, the members of the National Technical Honor Society, the members of Peer Leadership, the students who completed the Rotary Outstanding Vocational Award event, and the active members of SkillsUSA.

Finally, we are pleased to acknowledge, honor, and encourage high school seniors who will pursue a career as a professional in the skilled trades.  Through LCCTC's Co-op program, the following students have successfully accepted full-time, gainful employment upon graduation and have committed to remain a part of their company where they currently work. Though there may be others who follow, at this time, those students are:
