Teacher vs. Student Basketball Game

Once again, the Lawrence County CTC’s gym permeated with excitement as the crowds gathered to watch the annual Faculty vs. Student Basketball Game!

For months, teachers and students alike have been practicing for this final showdown, and what a showdown it was!

Anxiously anticipating a true game of skill, the players on both sides didn’t disappoint.  It was clear that each team valued teamwork as both they worked together like well-oiled machines.  There was no ball hogging today as solid pass after pass after pass occured keeping the crowd entertained for each moment.  From one end of the court to the other, there was swoosh after swoosh, and at the end of the first half, the score was Teachers 26 and Students 13.  Could the teachers hold on to their lead or would youth and determination win out?

With just four minutes left, the students crept closer as the score was Teachers 41 and Students 34, but could they hold on?

As the clock ticked down to the final seconds, Tyler Barker scored the final shot of the game, but in the end, it was Teachers 46 and Students 41.

Great game, everyone!
