I Commend You!: Mr. Milanovich Addresses the Graduates

Hello and thank you for joining me during this very special commencement honoring the Senior class of 2020.  I am Mr. Milanovich, Principal of the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. 

It is my great honor to recognize the hard work and dedication of our seniors, especially since this school year did not end at all in a conventional manner.  Even so, they continued to impress me by digging even deeper, in a time when most are looking to go on cruise control. 

Instead of coasting through their last nine weeks, they rose to the challenge and finished strong through the use of computers, emails, google classrooms, video chats and social distancing. 

For all these reasons plus many more, I commend the Class of 2020 and congratulate each and every one of them.  I also thank all of our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and guardians who supported these outstanding students and helped in motivating them to accomplish this very important  moment in life.
