2nd Night of Virtual Graduation

Our seniors celebrated for a second night in a row — virtually.

On this second evening, Mr. Windhorst videoed each senior as they crossed the stage to accept their diploma. Clark’s Studio was on site to snap their official picture of that moment; a quick trip to the backdrop captured the traditional formal cap and gown photo — and as much as we can under the circumstances would allow we celebrated the resiliency of the Class of 2020.

Tomorrow night brings the final opportunity for seniors to experience a virtual experience, baccalaureate — a non-denominational ceremony traditionally held the day before graduation. Baccalaureate ceremonies offer a quieter, more intimate opportunity to pause and reflect on this rite of passage, hear a keynote speaker, a faculty member and student speakers offer advice to the graduating class. This year’s service will be held virtually and will feature readings by Emily Miller and Noah Held and a message delivered by Pastor Sean Walters of Christ Lutheran Church and your very own Mrs. Julie Brown!
