Introducing Sophomore President, Tejionna Summers

Say HELLO to President Tejionna Summers (Ellwood), sophomore Class of 2024.

Q: What clubs, sports, or activities have you been involved in at LCCTC?

A: This year, I am participating in the “Just Dance” club and Student Council.

Q: What is something interesting that people might not know about you?

A: I was in Girl Scouts of America for 6 years!

Q: What are you most looking forward to this school year?

A: I’m looking forward to making new friends and making new memories.

Q: Who in your life deserves a shout-out for helping you make it this far?

A: My aunt gets my shoutout. Without her, I wouldn’t be at LCCTC pursuing my dreams.

Q: How has LCCTC changed your life?

A: Though I’ve only been here a short time, being here at LCCTC has given me the opportunity to clean the slate of negativity and start anew.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: In my future, I can see myself relocating to New Orleans and owing my own shop. One of my future aspirations is to travel around to various women’s shelters and use my skill to give free haircuts to women who could use a new sense of confidence and a fresh, new start in life.

Q: If there was one animal that could describe me, what would it be?

A: If I were an animal that would sum up who I am, I would be a peacock. I am fairly happy and sociable. I don’t mind dressing up from time to time, but I still feel beautiful in my natural state, and I’m decently intelligent.
