Introducing Sophomore Treasurer, Aaliyah Kinney

Hello, Aaliyah Kinney, EO sophomore and Treasurer of the Class of 2024!

Q: What clubs, sports, or activities have you been involved in at LCCTC?

A: In addition to Student Council, I plan to enjoy my time in the Nature Walking Club.

Q: What is something interesting that people might not know about you?

A: Though in the past, I haven’t been the most social, you may see me step outside of my comfort zone to become quite involved in many school activities. Being a class officer is a great way to start!

Q: What are you most looking forward to this school year?

A: In addition to learning a lot more about the electrical field, I’m looking forward to putting my best foot forward to earn great grades this year! I’m the kind of person who has a great desire to learn it all!

Q: Who in your life deserves a shout-out for helping you make it this far?

A: My dad is quite deserving of a shout-out; it is because of his influence that I wanted to pursue becoming an electrician! 10 years from now, I can see myself working by his side as an electrician.

Q: How has LCCTC changed your life?

A: I am really interested in simply working hard toward my future. So far, my life has been filled with more focus and less drama, and I like it!

Q: If there was one word that would sum up who you are, what would it be? And why?

“Hard-working” would be my word. I’m already busy helping the advisors in any way I can with plans for the Fall Flannel-Fest! I always try to do my very best.
