CA Wows with Exhibit

Recently, CA hosted —what we hope to be — one of many more art shows to come! Organized by Commercial Arts Teacher Anthony Derosa, the Commercial Arts class and teamed with Restaurant Trades teacher Jenn Price and her Restaurant Trades kids for their first in-house exhibit. To say the least, it was a true success.
And the reason? DeRosa states, “ We’ve spent so much time and attention this year stressing over students' struggles. I believe it's time to celebrate some students who have excelled despite the challenges this year presented.”
DeRosa’s answer: a Virtual Art Exhibition. The show played on loop throughout the day showcasing some of their strongest works. Some had been submitted to the Lawrence County Student Art Exhibition; however, only a few could be submitted and many works remained strong in their own rights. To host an event so our community could view them was a natural decision.
Because many art shows are not complete without a culinary bribe, Restaurant Trades delivered a delicious spread of finger foods, complements of CA. The LCCTC Staff was invited to stop by Student Activities Room, grab a snack, enjoy some art, and listen to smooth jazz music!
Here are a few comments from our staff:
