VA FFA Rises to the Next Level

FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success.

Lawrence County CTC is proud of its chapter members — especially those who step above and beyond to commit to competition.

Today, four of our members took part in the local competition for Senior and Junior Prepared Speech. Competing against each other yet working together as a team, these students kept Robert Ingersol’s philosophies in mind: “We rise by lifting others.” Learning to write professionally in APA format and following outstanding written and spoken guidelines, these students worked together, peer-edited, shared ideas, supported each other as a practice audience, and gave helpful hints to ensure that the entire process was positive.
