Congratulations LCCTC SkillsUSA: State Results & Pride and Promise

Lawrence County CTC is incredibly proud of all of our state competitors. Even though there was a change to virtual contests this year, our competitors found a way to show off their skills, and we couldn’t be more pleased.

These students earned their place to compete at the state level through their successes at district competition, and — even through the pandemic — they found a way to plan, prepare, create, practice and see it all through ‘til the very end. They stepped outside of their comfort zone and put their skill to the test. This, alone, is cause for celebration!

Of the nineteen Eagle competitors, LCCTC brought home fourteen medals — three bronze, one silver, and ten gold! Each medalist earned their hardware and were required to meet a cut-off score. All gold medalists met the cut-off scores and earned at least a 90% or higher to earn their way to SkillsUSA National Virtual Championships which will be held in June.
