Congratulations: Jeri Palumbo Memorial Scholarship Award

JERI PALUMBO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: In October of 2015, the LCCTC family experienced the loss of a tremendous individual, a lost breed of educator. One can only strive to achieve her level of passion for her students and her professionalism in education. Ms. Palumbo was instrumental in establishing a Peer Leadership group at this school and was their mentor and advisor until October 2015. The Peer Leadership students were “her” kids. They respected her and responded to her as she drew out the best qualities of each member. Today’s Peer Leaders developed the rather strict qualification requirements keeping in mind Ms. Palumbo’s high level of expectations for her students. This scholarship was initiated in memory of Ms. Jeri Palumbo by the 2015-2016 Peer Leadership students at LCCTC.
