It's THAT Time! Wounded Warrior Car Smash!

On May 27th during lunches, students will have a chance to vent their frustrations, but instead of making poor decisions, they can take it out on a car! Peer Leaders invite the LCCTC students to “give a whack for the Wounded Warrior Project” during their annual Car Smash event!

Thanks to Bruce Koelliker from Dell’s Garage (Union Township), LCCTC students can purchase tickets (even on the day of the event) to vent their frustrations on a car destined for the scrapyard. Proceeds will support the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that our servicemen and women experience mental, physical, and financial wellness.

WHAT WILL IT COST? For $1, students can take two whacks. For $5, ten whacks! And this year, LCCTC students have a special treat: for $2, students can purchase a ticket to use THOR; hand-crafted and etched by our very own Machine Tool Tech students, this special hammer first appeared at the pumpkin smash event during the Fall Festival, but it is back by popular demand.

TO PURCHASE TICKETS, LCCTC students should see the Peer Leaders during lunches; tickets will also be sold on the day of the event!

Take out a little frustration for a good cause; buy your tickets and “Give a Whack for the Wounded Warrior Project!”
