The Third Friday in May
The air wasn’t crisp, but the bacon and ham were. Fresh farm eggs grilled to perfection in “just a little bit” of butter. And the scent of “Good Morning” and call to “Get a plate!” beckoned those who gathered to enjoy good food and even better company.
Maybe it was a little more “Truck Day” than “Tractor Day,” but maybe that’s okay, too. Maybe — just maybe, we have started a different tradition on the third Friday in May — an even better tradition at LCCTC.
