Cpl Hoyland: 2022 SRO of the Year!
Did you hear the great news? Our very own Corporal Hoyland has been selected as Pennsylvania’s Sergeant Mike Hays School Resource Officer of the Year for 2022!
We all knew that he was the best, but now EVERYBODY KNOWS, and this honor couldn’t have gone to a more deserving person.
“He’s a phenomenally talented law enforcement officer,” states Mr. Leonard Rich, Director of LCCTC, “the best one I’ve worked with in my entire educational career” (New Castle News).
New Castle Police Chief, Bobby Salem endorses Hoyland as well. “We’re proud of Cpl. Hoyland. He’s developed a tremendous relationship with the personnel and students at the center, which helps to ensure [a] safe environment and staff” (New Castle News).
Even Cpl’s auntie got in on the “praise train” as she states, “So proud of you Corporal Hoyland! Well done! An exemplary officer, husband, father, nephew, and overall fine human being! God bless you!”
We couldn’t agree more with all of the recognition he has earned and all of the praise he’s recieving!
