Bunnies and Step-Ups and Spa Days and Vfroom-Vfrooms and Roni Rolls -- Oh My! Bring Your Child to Work Day 2024

They came with their mommies and their daddies to learn a little about what we do here on a day-to-day basis. They went to Tails of Hope to help with post-surgery and played with bunnies and snakes. In Carpentry, they built step-ups and tested them in a mini-obstacle course. They enjoyed the princess treatment in Cosmetology. They got to play with things that go VROOM! in Auto Technology. And they were lucky enough to enjoy Restaurant Trade's Roni-Rolls and homemade French fries!

And we’re not going to lie — It was nice to have them here. The kids had the opportunity to play the “expert” as they showed them how to safely work in their field and even let them help when it was appropriate!

Bring Your Child to Work Day is extra special here at LCCTC because the kids get a peek at what goes on out there in the real world!
