Welcome Families! ~ LCCTC's Open House

During our recent Open House, LCCTC was pleased to welcome the parents and friends of our students to tour the building, check out the classrooms and shops, and get to know their teachers.. We look forward to this evening because it offers the opportunity to connect teachers and families as we network to help your child succeed. 

Parents, we know that the success of our students is a result of many positive contributing factors, and we appreciate your continued support to ensure that your student maintains outstanding attendance and exceptional coursework. We look forward to our continued partnership with you to prepare your student for success in tomorrow’s career, today! 

We encourage you to continue this commitment throughout the school year and to stay informed of your child’s academic and vocational progress. Here are three easy ways to foster effective and productive communication with us:

  1. Check eSchoolData, the school district’s online grading system, to track your student’s progress, attendance, and discipline. If you have been unable to connect with the parent portal, please take a moment to contact spowner@lcvt.tec.pa.us with your personal email; if you don’t yet have an email, you may create a free Google email. Mr. Powner will return your email with instructions to set up your account and access the information on the site.

  2. Ask your student to show you their Google classrooms. Each teacher maintains a Google Classroom so that students are able to access all classroom materials both through in-person instruction and at-home study. Each student has access to each classroom and can show you their progress; “VIEW YOUR WORK” in the Classroom tab will show you what they have completed and what they owe, but remember: All actual grades are in eSchoolData.

  3. Keep your e-mail and contact information up to date with us; if you do have changes, please contact the front office (724) 658-3583, and we’ll be happy to update your information. This way, we can easily and quickly communicate with you when there are concerns and we can quickly address any questions you may have. You will also have access to all-calls which will notify you of important events and emergency updates such as 2-hour delays and snow cancellations.

We are pleased that you and your child have selected LCCTC, and we look forward to working with you to ensure that their time with us is productive and that we prepare them for a successful future in their career.
