Congratulations goes to junior Genevieve Taylor (New Castle Area School District), who earned all seven available Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) Certifications and the Visual Design Specialist CC certifications!
An Adobe certification is an industry-recognized credential that validates skills in Adobe digital-media software. The certifications Taylor earned are:
Digital Video using Premiere Pro CC
Graphic Design & Illustration using Adobe Illustrator CC
Multiplatform animation using Adobe Animate
Print & Digital Publication using Adobe InDesign CC
Rich Media Communication using Adobe Flash CS6
Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop CS6 and CC
Web Authoring using Adobe Dreamweaver CC
Visual Design Specialist CC
Congratulations also goes to Ben Bobbert and Eli Yarborough, both juniors from Ellwood City School District. Bobbert and Yarborough have passed the Unity Certified User Programmer Certification. This certification is an industry-recognized credential that validates their proficiency using Unity technology. Gaming is their passion and they have been training for this certification for over a year. They are looking forward to the next chapter in their Gaming certification which would be earning the Unity Certified User VR Developer certification.
Congratulations also goes to several other COT students for earning certifications, as well.
Well-done, Casey Gleghorn, senior (MHS) for passing his Adobe Certified Associate Visual Design using Adobe Photoshop. Visual Design is a project-based curriculum that develops key digital communication skills such as design, project management, research and communication, and photography, graphic design and illustration, and page layout technical skills using Adobe tools.
